St. Peter Lithuanian Parish

St. Peter’s in South Boston is the last open Lithuanian church in the city. Built in 1901, it features rich Lithuanian details like stained-glass windows, flag-colored candles, and an improvised Hill of Crosses. Though once surrounded by a thriving Lithuanian neighborhood, the area changed drastically in 1941. Despite hardships, the church survived, preserving its cultural and spiritual roots.
